Then a few years ago, we went to the shelter and found a little puppy. She was so cute, and smart! My husband and I thought wouldn't it be nice to teach her how to pick things up and bring them to you.
You know how you keep dropping or throwing things, and it gets really tiring to keep picking everything up? After awhile you it happens more and more.... and now your bending over roughly 20 times in a row, and your vision starts to disappear.
It's now been about a year and a half, and our "puppy" is 80 some pounds and follows me everywhere. She is getting close to getting the items back to my hands... However, 98% of the time she gets close to my finger tips, drops it on the floor and then pounces on it like it was going to attack me. She may not be able to "fetch" but she can Always make me laugh! I guess laughter is the best medicine! :-)
We'll keep working with her. She's still so darn adorable!
Well I pray that all my fellow Chiarians, have a wonderful and pain free night.
