It's been awhile since I've been on here. I do apologize for this! Between my husband getting injured and losing his job to our daughter breaking bones and having surgery. Not including myself being in and out of my doctors office like "normal".
However, I've been busy... My husband has been my hands and my follow threw,(since my hands & mind have been doing their own thing lately). "We" HE has designed a shirt for Chiari Malformation "Awareness" Warriors. I use the term Awareness loosely, it's more that we are Warriors! We are in a daily battle that seems to never have a speck of light at the end of the tunnel. But, we keep pushing threw each day just incase, tomorrow might have that miracle we're all searching for.
I've been to Ohio's Cleveland Clinic, to Minnesota's Mayo Clinic... spent thousands upon thousands of dollars and months, upon years of my life to get to the spot that I'm at right now. Not counting the hundreds of different medicines each doctor has given. "Oh, that didn't work, Well keep taking that with this and I'll see you in 3 months, in the mean time see your family doctor too".
I feel like a guinea pig, I honestly don't think they know what to do. They are just trying every different medicine they can, trial and error. Oh, that didn't work well... won't do that again! Next!
Sorry, I'm ranting... back to the T-Shirt, this shirt was designed by my husband and myself, all proceeds will go to help other Chiarians, and their families. Such as:
1.HOTEL - (I know I've spent weeks at a time out of state for an appointment, for Cleveland and Mayo).
2. FUEL - (Fuel isn't cheap, especially now).
3. MEDICINES - (At one time I was on 20 different medications 3 times a day. This isn't cheap... I know).
If I can sell enough shirts to help one fellow Chiarian, I'd be making a difference for them and their family. I understand if you can't purchase a shirt at this time, but I do ask if you could pass the link on and pray for your fellow Chiarians, I really would appreciate that!
Thank you,
I pray you all have a pain free day/night!
